Here are some of the reasons why I am the right translator for your communications:

PILs, SmPCs, Clinical trials
The central authorization procedures of EMA require the timely submission of all documents with perfect quality. There are strict requirements in Europe for translating Summary of Product Characteristics, Package Leaflets and Labelling documents (all the documents that make up medicinal product information).

To comply with these requirements, you are expected to use specific templates, standard terms and controlled terminology.

With my experience and proven workflow, I am able to guarantee this for my language pairs: English into Portuguese, Spanish into Portuguese and French into Portuguese.

Being in business for over 25 years, I translated for all kinds of businesses, from boutique translation agencies to highly specialized, pharmaceutical companies. This experience means you can be sure I know your language and understand your documents.

You have a direct link to the person translating your documents. No middle-men. In addition to quality, I offer you a true partnership as well as a high level of responsiveness and flexibility. I always meet deadlines and have the greatest respect for your confidentiality.
My experience as full-time translator for many years has given me the necessary insights to understand precisely what your expectations are and how to address them in an optimal way.

Working methods

I am a firm believer in the native speaker concept. Therefore, I only work into European Portuguese, from English, French and Spanish. Recently, though, due to the vast demand of my regular clients, I partnered with an excellent Brazilian translator, to handle that Portuguese variant as well.
I work with the latest computer hardware and software, including Trados 2014, otherwise known as a CAT (computer-assisted-translation) tool. This does not mean that I do not translate. No. These types of programs help me manage terminology and create a dedicated memory for your company, so that I can ensure consistency throughout the years (hopefully) of collaboration with you.

Have a project?

I sure would love to sit around a fire
with a beer and swap cultural stories.
But if you’d like to talk about work,
I can do that, too.
